Dear first-years,

we are happy to welcome you to the University of Mannheim. As your student council, we are here to support you in your studies from day one and are your contact for all your questions.

One of our big tasks is to connect you with your new fellow students through a great orientation week.

Due to the fact that our Bachelor’s programs are taught in German, we provide our information for the Bachelor’s orientation week only on our German page.

Master

Orientation Week:

In FSS 2024, there will once again be an Orientation Week where you can get to know the university and each other better. On Wednesday, 07.02.2024, there will be a general introduction at 11:00 a.m., where representatives of the Dean’s Office and the Student Council will give you an overview of your degree program and all the important information about registration and learning platforms. The event will take place in rooms B6 A101 (Master Mathematics/Master Business Mathematics) and A5 C013 (Master Business Informatics/MMDS). Afterwards there will be a campus tour. We are also planning a get-together on Thursday followed by a visit to the bar to round off the Orientation Week.
